How to get from the airport to the center of Athens:
METRO: The airport is accessible via Metro Line 3 “Aghia Marina - Athens International Airport”. (Airport-Syntagma: about40 min.)
Ticket price: 8 euros (see also here )
BUS: The airport is accessible via BUS X95 “Syntagma - Athens International Airport” (about 40 min.). ticket: 5 euros (All buses set down passengers at the Departures Level and depart from the Arrivals Level, between Exits 2 and 3. See also here)
TAXI: The fee for a ride by taxi from the airport to the center of Athens (Syntagma) is about 35 euros and takes about 40 minutes.
Public Transportation in Athens - Prices:
- Ticket for all public transport for 70 min. (bus, metro) : 1.20 €
- Bus ticket (for 70 min.): 1.20 €
- Day ticket for all public transport: 4 €
